Ride to “Halfaouin Market” and eat “Kafteji”

Halfaouin is an old district outside the walls of the Medina of Tunis. It’s well known for its old mosques, traditional homes and narrow alleys. It’s surrounded by many souks where you can find the freshest vegetables and fruits.

In this tour we’ll explore its markets, stop in one of the oldest cafes to enjoy an expresso or latte and try a “Kafteji plate” in a popular restaurant before heading back to Bardo.

The kafteji meal will cost around 5 dinars.

The coffee in a local cafe will cost around 2 dinars.

The total ride distance will be less than 10 km from Bardo and back.

Duration: approximately 3 hours ( less or more depending on traffic and your disposability )

Tour cost: 40 dinars in including bike/helmet rentals and an experienced tour guide who will join the ride and show you around.
