This cycling tour will take you to “Beb Souika” in the city center of Tunis which is also famous for hosting the HQ of most famous and oldest football teams in Tunisia called “Espérance de Tunis”. In the center of “Beb souika” we will visit a well known old restaurant called “Oueld El Commissar” that serves one of the most delicious Lablebi meals in town. Locals Tunisians and foreigners from all over the world eat Lablebi here.
“Lablebi” is a Tunisian soup featuring chickpeas, day-old bread, warming spices and more.
Tunisians thinks that home-made harissa and olive oil make the difference between each restaurant serving Lablebi.
The Lablebi prices can vary between 4 and 7 dinars depending on what supplements you add to it like tuna, meat, extra eggs, olive oil or pickles.
